Meet Our Team

The Atelier is a small group of professionals highly skilled in various fields of law. Our lawyers are graduates of the most prestigious law schools and recognized experts in many different fields of law; many of them have PhDs, and have been trained in Russia, in the United States, in Italy and in France. The Atelier staff has many years of professional experience and extensive experience in government, as well as being members of the Moscow City Bar Association, the Bar of the City of Florence and the Maryland State Bar; additionally, many are actively teaching.

Vladimir Zaytsev

Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation

In 1980 he graduated in Law from Moscow State University (Russia).He covered various positions at the Institute of Soviet Legislation, Ministry of Justice of the USSR. Since 1992 he is a practicing lawyer: member of the Inter-republican Bar Association, member of the Specialized Bar Association “Iniurcolleaguia”, lawyer at the Moscow Bar Association (Russia).

Professor at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA); member of the Legal Dissertation Council of RANEPA (civil law, family law, business law, international private law, civil and arbitration procedures). Wide academic and practical experience in fields of civil, business, family, housing, inheritance, administrative and criminal law in Russia; numerous years of trial litigation.

He speaks Russian and English.


Natalia Berebenya

Ph.D. in Law

In 2005 she graduated in Law from Moscow State University (Russia). In 2010 she carried out an individual research program at the University of Florence, Law Faculty (Italy). Since 2006 she is a practicing lawyer; 2011-2014 – lawyer of the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg (France).

Wide academic and practical experience in the fields of civil, family, housing, inheritance, administrative and criminal law, as well as in international law, international relations and international protection of human rights; several years of trial litigation experience in Russia.

She speaks Russian, English, Italian and French.


Olga Danilenko

Olga Danilenko

Ph.D. in Law

In 1978 she graduated in Law from Moscow State University (Russia). In 2003 she obtained a degree in Comparative Law at the Law School of the University of Michigan (USA). She worked at the Institute of State and Law of Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow (Russia).

Since 1994 she is a practicing lawyer: member of the Moscow Bar Association; member of the Bar Association of the Moscow Region. In 2013 she obtained a notary license in Russia. Academic experience in environmental law, practical work in the fields of civil, family, housing, inheritance, administrative, environmental and criminal law in Russia, numerous years of trial litigation.

She speaks Russian and English.


Pietro Sean Fantappié

In 2017 successfully obtained the bar admission. In 2014 graduated in Law from the University of Florence, Italy. (After obtaining his bar admission) Pietro is currently an Associate of an International Law firm in Moscow (Russian Federation).

In 2006 obtained the Diploma in Business Administration focusing on Marketing, International Relations and Accounting at the Westminster College, London (United Kingdom).

In the period of 2011-2013 completed different internships in legal firms in Boston (USA), in Munich (Germany), in Moscow (Russia), and at the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg (France). Dr. Fantappié has a wide practical experience in trade and commercial areas as well as in the fields of international law, international relations and international protection for human rights.

Speaks Italian, English, Russian and French.


Elena Danilenko

Elena Danilenko

Lawyer. Member of the Bar of the State of Maryland, USA

A graduate of Yale University College and The George Washington University Law School (USA). Studied International Human Rights at Oxford University, as well as Business and Business Law at Instituto de Empresa, Madrid (Spain).

Clerks at the American Bar Association Center for Human Rights, and has collaborated with the International Corporate Accountability Roundtable. Focused on Business and Human Rights; also works in International Law and Cultural Intelligence.

Fluent in Russian and English. Basic German.

In 2000 he graduated in Law from Moscow State University (Russia). Since 2004 he is a practicing lawyer: lawyer at the Moscow Bar Association (Russia).

Head of the department “Higher School of Jurisprudence” at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA); Member of the Justice improvement Commission of the Association of Lawyers of Russia. Wide academic and practical experience in fields of civil, business, family, housing and inheritance law in Russia; numerous years of trial litigation.
